CG Artists Toolkit - Animation and Character 02 - Timing and Spacing


Creating this simple animation within Adobe Animate has allowed me to grasp more of the principles of animation, such as how to make a ball throw look more natural and fluid. I used less frames within the middle of the animation to create a faster motion, and more at the beginning and the end the make the ball slow down.

  1. Hello Polly, you're almost there with this one, you need to tweak it so that both of them finish at frame 24. The motion is good though. The purpose of this exercise is to show the difference between timing and spacing, so, by both finishing at 24 frames, they have the same timing, but different spacing.
